Within the walls of the Baltimore region's biotechnology parks, researchers are developing treatments and early diagnostic tools for cancer, creating vaccines, and pioneering products to improve the lives of stroke victims. The University of Maryland BioPark is mentioned with the others in the area for "producing heady research results, and promising products and businesses."
