State gives $4 million to UMB Park

A joint legislative committee approved June 17 $4 million to assist startup companies with office and lab improvements at the planned research park at University of Maryland, Baltimore. The money, directed through the state's Sunny Day Fund, will help young companies make needed improvements at the Biomedical Research Park in West Baltimore.
