TENANT NEWS: SNBL Announces New Leadership Appointments, Upgrades Onsite Clinical Laboratory CapabilitiesUM BioPark tenant SNBL has had several news announcements this month, including new leadership appointments and an upgrading of onsite clinical laboratory capabilities. First, Patrick Ayd, formally Vice President of Operations at SNBL Clinical Pharmacology Center (SNBL-CPC) has been named Chief Operating Officer with overall responsibility for managing clinical, administrative, and business development departments. He comes from ClinPharm Network, Inc. where he served as the principal and founder. Next, Dan Rudin, M.D. has joined SNBL-CPC as Medical Director leading the day-to-day clinical operations and providing strategic medical input regarding clinical trial feasibility, design and execution. He will also serve as SNBL’s primary principle investigator for numerous clinical trials. Finally, SNBL-CPC has upgraded its accreditation and onsite clinical laboratory capabilities to perform moderate to high complexity test procedures. The SNBL lab team has obtained laboratory licensing from the State of Maryland, and has become COLA and CLIA certified. The certifications will permit SNBL-CPC to offer a larger range of clinical safety laboratory testing to its clients.
