Towson Firm Negotiating With UMB for Initial Biotech Park Contract

Towson-based developer Townsend Capital LLC,heading a team that includes local firms Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. and
Ken Banks Contracting Co., is in the advanced stages of negotiations with the University of Maryland, Baltimore to construct the first building of a new biotechnology research park planned for a site just west of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. James Hughes, MBA, vice president of research and
