UMB to pick consultant for possible biotech parkBaltimore Business Journal The University of Maryland, Baltimore (http://www.umaryland.edu), plans to select by Sept. 1 a consultant to develop a study that evaluates the feasibility of a bioscience park near the university's campus, said Jane Shaab, the university's senior director of business development. The study is scheduled to be complete by November, Shaab said. Requests for proposals were due to the university by Aug. 13. Plans, released earlier this year, call for the university bioscience park to be built near the 800 and 900 blocks of Baltimore Street. |
