This half-day symposium will explore how the tools and techniques of genomics, transcriptomics, and metagenomics are being used right now to answer important questions in human health and disease. Faculty members from within the Institute for Genome Sciences will present an introduction to `omics techniques followed by focus talks highlighting their current research in this area.
