                        an Interactive workshop on
                            SBIR/STTR Funding
By the National Cancer Institute Development Center Team

​The NCI SBIR/STTR Development Center provides funding, networking, and mentoring assistance to small businesses with innovative cancer technology projects.  NCI SBIR/STTR Program Director Jonathan Franca-Koh and Xing-Jian Lou will be presenting funding opportunities and other commercialization resources for small businesses in Maryland. During the presentation, Dr. Franca-Koh and Dr. Lou will cover topics including:

• New and existing funding opportunities
• Investor and training programs such as the I-Corps at NIH entrepreneurship program
• Application tips and suggestions

Following the presentation, companies will have a chance to meet one-on-one with the two program directors to discuss their cancer technology project and funding eligibility. If you would like to be considered for a one-on-one meeting, please email Dr. Franca-Koh by Wednesday, October 10, 2018 with a one-page summary of your company and technology.
