Combined Invent and Advance Rooms

Discover Auditorium
The BioPark Life Sciences Conference Center is located on the west side of the first floor of 801 W. Baltimore Street. The Conference Center includes the Discover auditorium and two conference rooms, Invent & Advance, with a moveable partition wall that can be opened to create one large room. The outside hallway can also be used for registration or breaks.
Each room is equipped with user friendly audio/visual equipment. Building staff are available to assist with set-up. Equipment includes:
- LCD/Video projector for multimedia computer/DVD presentations
- Motorized projection screens
- Overhead audio system
- Remote control touch panels to control the audio/visual systems
- Wired and wireless microphones
- Podium with integrated audio/visual elements
- 28 arm chairs, 50 blue fabric stackable chairs
- 25 tables, 3’ x 5’ and 13 cocktail rounds
- Polycom conference phone with auxiliary microphones.
Conference Center users will need to rent additional tables and chairs if required for their event.

Vendors
All vendors must supply a certificate of insurance prior to each event. The certificate of insurance must name Wexford University of Maryland 2, LLC (Owner) and Cushman & Wakefield (Manager) as additional insured. A copy of the liquor license must be provided to Cushman & Wakefield at least 48 hours prior to any event where alcohol is being served.

Parking
Event parking is available in the BioPark garage at 1 N. Poppleton Street. Conference center users can pre-pay for event parking if desired. Please contact Standard Parking at 410-685-9354 for more information.
The garage is open Monday – Friday 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Saturday 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The current daily rates are:

1-2 hours $6.00
Over 2 hours $9.00
