University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business will move its Baltimore campus to a larger space at the University of Maryland BioPark.
The move will allow the business school to expand its MBA programs and partnerships and dedicate space for alumni programs in the city.
The Smith School is currently located at University of Maryland, Baltimore's School of Nursing.
The business school signed a long-term lease to occupy 14,127-square-feet in BioPark Two at 801 W. Baltimore St. on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The location is more than four times its current city campus.
Construction is slated to begin in July.
The Smith School plans to hold part-time MBA classes in the new space in January 2010.
