Three Firms Fill UM BioPark I

Three small companies are moving into office space at the UM BioPark, filling the project¹s first building. Of these firms, FASgen, Inc., is the best known in biotech circles. The company is developing drugs that target cancer, tuberculosis, obesity, and diabetes and moved in last month to 9,000 square feet on two floors of the building, said James Hughes, MBA, vice president of research and development for the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
