Maryland Proton Treatment Center treats its first patient

Dr. William Regine is like a proud papa as he walks through the brand new Maryland Proton Treatment Center. The new location in west Baltimore is one of only 20 centers in the country providing lifesaving treatment to cancer patients.

The center's executive director might as well be the executive tour guide too. Regine knows everything about what makes the state-of the-art facility tick, from the science to the technology.
