Join IGS to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the first sequencing of a complete genome of a free living organism. Dr. Claire Fraser and Dr. Owen White (Director and Assocate Director of the Institute for Genome Sciences, respectively) were leaders in the original Haemophilus influenzae sequencing project at The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR) in Rockville MD. They will share their prespectives on the history surrounding the project and its impact on biology.
