INFO: After only five years, the University of Maryland BioPark has gone from feasibility study to three buildings constructed with 12 buildings projected at final build out. The theme of the celebration is WATCH US GROW – in square feet, in community impact, and in bioscience collaborations.  More than 300 representatives from the community, the campus, the federal, state, and local government, and major companies will attend.

The event, to be held under a tent in the center of the BioPark, will celebrate several community workforce training partnerships with the Vivien T. Thomas Medical Arts Academy, Baltimore City Community College, Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, and the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education.

Finally, the event will include several announcements of new tenants and new projects involving the University of Maryland BioPark.
